The Reaper Author Steven Dunne – Joined Up #40

This is episode 40 and today we have another multi-talented writer, crime author Steven Dunne telling us about how he made the transition from self-publishing to traditional and giving us the lowdown on his DI Brooke series of novels.

Steven is another writer with a varied CV – having spent time as a teacher, a journalist, and a PR consultant – as well as doing a bit of stand-up comedy, writing a successful pantomime and several pieces for The Guardian, Times and Independent, before self publishing the first of his DI Brooke novels, which proved so successful it was then picked up by Harper Collins.

Steven has loads of advice including on writing a synopsis and giving an insight in to plotting a crime novel and his revision process. You can also follow Steven on Twitter @ReaperSteven.
