Planning for Success -Writing Tips from Maria Smith

This is episode 41 and as we are recording this at the beginning of January, 2016 (that’s for the benefit of future listeners) our theme for today is looking at how you can prepare yourself for a successful writing year, with lots of hints and tips from fellow writer, blogger and planner extraordinaire, Maria Smith.

Maria Smith. Maria is a writer of dark fiction, urban fantasy, and the paranormal. Passionate about writing and I think both myself and Leah can attest to the fact that she loves to help other writers too as she is a fellow member of the Phoenix Writers Critique group – actually one of its founding members.

When she’s not writing on the dark side, she keeps an excellent blog over at First Draft Cafe where she encourages writers and readers to relax and unwind with virtual coffee and cake.

In Maria’s recent blog post ‘Thinking Ahead’  she covered everything from having somewhere to write, keeping targets, making time, getting away from it all, friends and multi-tasking.

You can follow Maria on Twitter here and she helps to run weekly Tweet-up – #writingchat
