Cop turned Writer, Matt Johnson – Joined Up#62

Episode 62 brings us a fascinating chat with ex soldier, ex policeman and now writer, Matt Johnson. We also have a return of Book Blogger’s Corner with a review from Victoria Goldman.

In the late 70’s, Matt served as a soldier from and throughout the 80’s and 90’s he was a police officer with the Met. His debut novel Wicked Game – a crime thriller – was published by Orenda Books in March 2016, with the sequel Deadly Game, appearing in March this year. Wicked Game was listed for the CWA John Creasey Dagger award, has topped the Amazon and WH Smith KOBO charts in several categories and at the end of 2016 was listed by Amazon UK as the highest-rated ‘rising star’ novel of 2016.

Book Blogger’s Corner brings us Victoria Goldman with a review of Vanessa LaFaye’s latest novel, First Light.

Victoria is a freelance health journalist and editor, as well as an avid book reviewer.
