It’s episode 109 with a cracker of an interview with Will Dean, creator of the excellent Tuva Moodyson crime series set in the dark pines of a Swedish forest community. We talked about everything from writing a fast first draft to what to do when a bull elk turns up in your back yard!

Will grew up in the East Midlands, before studying Law at the LSE, and working in London. Eventually he moved to rural Sweden, built a wooden house in a boggy clearing at the centre of a vast elk forest, and wrote his successful debut novel, Dark Pines. His latest book, Red Snow, is out now from all good book shops.
