It’s episode 119 with Rosanna Amaka, telling us about her highly original debut novel The Book Of Echoes and her fascinating journey into writing and eventual publication. Rosanna has lots to say about perseverance and telling a story that’s true to who you are.

ROSANNA was born to African and Caribbean parents and began writing THE BOOK OF ECHOES twenty years ago to give voice to the Brixton community in which she grew up. As a child she loved writing short stories, later progressing to novels, which as you’ll hear she spent many years crafting. Published by Doubleday, The Book OF Echoes is her first novel and is out right now on Kindle, with the paperback hitting shelves on Febuary 27th.
