Episode 125 brings us American novelist, Jessica Anthony talking about her fast-paced biting satire book – Enter The Aardvark. Jessica has had a fascinating life and career and gives real insight into her approach and writing process.
Jessica has been a butcher in Alaska, an unlicensed masseuse in Poland, and a secretary in San Francisco. Her first book was The Convalescent and she also collaborated on graphic novel, Chopsticks. In 2017, while writing her new book Enter the Aardvark, Jessica worked as “Bridge Guard,” guarding the Maria Valeria Bridge in a remote part of Slovakia. Normally, she lives in Maine and teaches at Bates College. Enter The Aardvark is out right now, everywhere you can find good books.
