It’s episode 152 with Becky Robison, a novelist and published short story writer who I invited on to the show after reading an excellent twitter thread she wrote about the realities of rejection and the hardships we face trying to sell our novels to publishers. It’s a fun and insightful chat.
Becky is a karaoke enthusiast, trivia nerd, and fiction writer from Chicago. Her stories have appeared in [PANK], Paper Darts, Midwestern Gothic, and elsewhere. When she’s not working her corporate job or walking her dog, she serves as Social Media and Marketing Coordinator for Split Lip Magazine. She is represented by Zoe Sandler at ICM.
Becky’s work ranges from horror-tinged flash fiction to coming-of-age YA novels that meditate on the beliefs we think we hold versus the ones that really drive us.
Take a look at Becky’s website here and follow her on Twitter here.
