It’s episode 168 and a lovely chat with the brilliant Bonnie Garmus. Bonnie’s debut Lessons in Chemistry is a funny, original, thought-provoking book and has already made big waves with loads of great reviews and an upcoming Apple TV series starring Brie Larson. Aside from all that, Bonnie is just a great guest who has lots to say about her unique writing journey and inspiration for the rest of us.

Bonnie Garmus is a copywriter and creative director who has worked widely in the fields of technology, medicine, and education. She’s an open-water swimmer, a rower, and mother to two pretty amazing daughters. Born in California and most recently from Seattle, she currently lives in London with her husband and her dog, 99. Lessons in Chemistry is her debut that already looks set to be a smash and it’s out right now, everywhere you can buy books.​
