Armley Press Publisher Mick McCann -JU#54

It’s episode 54 and today we’re chatting to writer and self-styled Punk Publisher, Mick McCann.

Mick has written books including How Leeds Changed The World and Coming Out As A Bowie Fan in Leeds, Yorkshire, England and after becoming disillusioned with the way the traditional publishing industry sometimes works, decided to go his own way and set up Armley Press in 2008. Since then Armley’s punk ethos and passion for finding edgy new voices has led to them publishing new talents like recent guests MW Leeming and Nathan O’Hagan.

Mick tweets at @MickMcCann01 and you can find more about Armley Press here. You should also go and check out the short film on YouTube Mick Mentions during our chat.
